How we work

Four steps, concept to launch

A clear, milestone-based pipeline so you always know what ships next. Pick the whole journey or drop in at any stage.

01

Concept & Playable Prototype

We turn a pitch into a vertical slice you can actually play. Core loop, greybox levels, and a one-page design bible — enough to test fun and pitch investors.

3–5 weeks · from CA$9,500

02

Full Production — Unity & Unreal

Gameplay systems, art integration, and performance tuning for PC, console, and mobile. Weekly builds, a shared roadmap, and source you keep on day one.

3–9 months · from CA$60,000

03

Backend & LiveOps

Matchmaking, accounts, leaderboards, and events that stay online under load. We stand up autoscaling servers, analytics, and a live-events calendar your team can run.

Retainer · from CA$4,200/mo

04

QA, Certification & Launch

Device labs, Steam and console cert prep, and a launch-week war room. We chase crash logs and day-one patches so your release lands smoothly.

Word on the street

What our partners say

They took our messy prototype and shipped Neon Drift Rally in five months. The weekly builds meant zero surprises, and the LiveOps events they set up doubled our week-two retention.

Frequently asked questions

Everything about scope, ownership, and how a build with us actually runs.

QDo we own the source code and assets?

Yes — full IP and source ownership transfer to you as milestones are paid. We hand over the repository, build pipeline, and asset files at each stage, so you are never locked to us. Nothing about our contracts holds your project hostage.

QWhich engines and platforms do you work in?

We ship primarily in Unity and Unreal Engine 5, targeting PC (Steam, Epic), PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. If you already have a codebase, we can join mid-project and match your existing stack rather than forcing a rebuild.

QCan you join a project that’s already in production?

Absolutely. Roughly a third of our work is rescue and reinforcement — coming onto a live or stalled project to add features, fix performance, or stand up a backend. We start with a paid two-week audit before committing to a timeline.

QHow do payments and milestones work?

We bill in fixed milestones tied to deliverables, not open-ended hours. You approve each milestone before the next begins, and prototypes start from CA$9,500 while full productions are scoped after the concept phase. LiveOps runs on a monthly retainer.

QDo you handle store submission and certification?

Yes. Our launch package covers Steam and Epic store pages, plus first-party certification for PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. We prep the builds, complete the compliance checklists, and stay on-call through launch week to push day-one patches.

QWhere are you based and do you work remotely?

Our studio is at 234 Adelaide Street West in Toronto’s Entertainment District, and most collaboration is remote with weekly video reviews. Local Toronto clients are welcome to visit for playtests and workshops — we keep a device lab on site.
